YOU ARE NOT A VICTIM

YOU ARE NOT A VICTIM

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Romans 8:37).

You are not a victim – you better believe it. Men and women receive as reality what they believe. It is impossible for God to give birth to a victim. You are born again, that’s why Apostle Peter described it this way “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.” (1 Peter 1:23). The very life of God was imparted into your human spirit when you gave your life to Jesus Christ and you became one with God. It was the revelation of this experience that made Apostle Paul announce to the Corinthian believers “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Apostle Paul in our opening verse recognized that tribulation, distress, persecution and famine could act as agents with the motive to disengage us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” (Romans 8:35-36). It doesn’t even matter whether your specific case was mentioned here but Apostle Paul continued “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Romans 8:37).

There is no problem or situation in this world that is able to make you a victim. The life of God that is in you is superior to sickness and diseases. You are a victorious child of God. How can you be a victim when the Bible specifically said “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31). You have divine support and not just a conqueror but more than conqueror through Christ Jesus who loved us.

CONFESSION

I am a victor in Christ Jesus full of the life of God because the name of Jesus is named upon me. I am born of the Spirit and my faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Glory to God.
