Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name (Philippians 2:9).
God is the master planner. His plans are perfect and His ways will never lead you astray. The New Creature in Christ Jesus wasn’t left comfortless as Jesus said, they have the Holy Spirit. One of the duties of the Holy Spirit as the Scripture tells us is to testify of Jesus to the believer – “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” (John 15:26).
Believers in Christ suffer untold hardship when they fail to use the name of Jesus. It has been given to the believer as a tool with which to chart a course in life. It’s not only in the presence of danger that the name of Jesus works. Our opening verse is best captured in the Amplified version of the Bible – “For this reason also [because He obeyed and so completely humbled Himself], God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name” (Philippians 2:9 Amplified). Jesus gained authority through obedience and humility to God’s plan for mankind. The Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul revealed “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” (Philippians 2:10).
You should never go another day without the name of Jesus in your mouth. Everything that was created that has a name is under a contractual agreement to bow in submission to the name of Jesus. The exciting thing is this – we have been given the power of attorney to use the name of Jesus. It is in you using the name of Jesus that this Scripture comes alive in your life “And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:11).
Child of destiny, God commissioned you when you got born again to use the name of Jesus and to receive the same result as if Jesus was physically there. The name of Jesus is a door opener; start engaging the name against any closed door over your life – it doesn’t matter what the door represents – you will receive favorable answers even sooner than you anticipated.
CONFESSION
The name of Jesus is exalted over any closed doors in my life and at the name of Jesus I command the doors to open. The same way nothing stands in the way against Jesus, nothing is permitted to stand in my way in the mighty name of Jesus.
