SPEAK GOD’S WORD OVER YOURSELF
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16)
The Word of God was written so it could be spoken! The day you make that discovery and choose to align your life with God’s Word, you will begin to walk in continuous and undeniable victory. The Word of God carries within it the power to produce whatever it declares. Learn to direct that Word toward the areas where you desire transformation. This is how you put the Word of God to work.
Apostle Paul, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, declares in our theme verse, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16). The word translated salvation is the Greek word sōtēria, which means deliverance or salvation. It also includes welfare, prosperity, preservation, and safety. Many have limited this verse to salvation from sin, but that is only one dimension of its meaning. You can apply the gospel of Christ Jesus to any area of your life, and it will produce the expected results.
Stop speaking words of defeat, confusion, or doubt. Remember, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” (Proverbs 18:21). Your words shape your experience.
Scripture says, “For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we may boldly say: ‘The Lord is my helper’” (Hebrews 13:5b–6a). Take hold of what God has spoken concerning you, and declare it boldly over your life. Keep speaking it until your reality aligns with God’s promise.
The Word of God is a divine tool for effecting change in your health, finances, relationships, and every other area of your life. The Holy Spirit moves upon the spoken Word to bring it to pass, compelling everything out of alignment in your life to come into divine order.
