Maintaining faith in God and a positive attitude every situation, will give you access to your promised inheritance. We find various instances in the Bible as a testimonial to this realities. One of such is recorded in the account of able bodied men who were sent out to go and carry out a mission of facts finding, incidentally majority of these men had the wrong attitude and ended up submitting what the scriptures called evil reports.
“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.”

When you study this event closely, you will be astonished how twelve men observed the same exact conditions, ten out of the twelve spies that were sent to the promised land saw opposition, while only two – Caleb and Joshua saw possibility. Have you ever wondered how did those two men see things? What kind of audacity will you attribute to such kind of seeing?

When you reflect and meditate on the theme of this year, THE YEAR OF POSSIBILITIES, you will realize that God cannot be limited, hindered or obstructed. Therefore as a child of God you have the privileges that Jesus is the way of escape out of any kind of difficulty. The Word of God in Luke 1:37 says For with God nothing shall be impossible. Looking at the testimony of Job in Job1:1-2 Then Job said to the Lord, I know that you can do all things, and that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained or thwarted(AMP) Job came to an understanding later in his journey with God that God is a specialist in doing impossibilities.
Sarah doubted God in Genesis 18:14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. The thing about the Word of God is no matter how foolish it may sound there will be a performance concerning it. Let us remove every form of doubt from our lives and rely on the Word of God which is potent and infallible. Doubt can rob you of your inheritance in Christ; Doubt can short change the promises of God in one’s life. So this year let’s learn how to rest on His Word and not lean to our head knowledge. And I strongly believe that in this Year of Possibilities, we will birth unusual testimonies by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
Bear in mind that we should be careful not to be impatient when dealing with God because when there is a seeming delay, it does not translate to denial. Consider when Prophet Samuel came to the house of Jesse to anoint David as the King of Israel, it didn’t come to reality immediately but it took a process of time before it came to fulfillment. God has a time and season for everything Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Be rest assured with the Word of God that whatsoever He has promised that He is more than able to bring it to pass Ecclesiastes 3:11a succinctly puts it “He hath made everything beautiful in His time”.
