POSITION FOR GREATNESS

God has impressed upon my heart that He is positioning His people for greatness. Culture defines greatness by riches, fame and power, but God views greatness differently. Obtaining true greatness is not defined by what you receive but by what revelations you accept.

Do you see yourself the way God sees you? Do you see yourself full of abundance and value? Being positioned for greatness is about you operating your life from God’s perspective. No matter what might be going on around you, you can’t allow the pessimistic clamor to devalue your self-worth nor impact your identity in Christ Jesus.“The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: “You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.” Deuteronomy 1:6 (NKJV)

2021 was a rugged year for many believers. As a result, some of you have gotten stuck. Whether it was the effects of Covid, personal loss, disappointment, or frustration, it impacted the way you saw yourself and, frankly, how you interacted with God. This caused you moved from your position of greatness to insignificance. God is calling you back to your position of greatness. You are significant, and what you have to offer matters, not only for this generation, but for the generations to follow.

Do you understand that before the foundations of the world, God intended for you to do good works for Him; in fact, you were created for good works!

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)

Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountains of the Amorites, to all the neighboring places in the plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the South and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates. See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—to give to them and their descendants after them. Deuteronomy 1:7-8 (NKVJ)

He has a call on your life, and you never fulfilling what He intended would be detrimental. God provides a four keys to help you get back on course of your position of greatness.

Key number one – Turn

You need to shift your thoughts back into alignment with what God has decreed about you. You are accepted, approved, anointed, and appointed. (Ephesians 1:5, 2 Corinthians 1:21, John 15:16)

Key number two – Take your Journey

You need to move in the last direction God gave you. Don’t expect God to provide you with every detail initially; then, you would not need faith. He will be a light unto your path. (Psalm 119:105)

 Key number three – See

You need to see what God has called you to accomplish. If you can’t see it, you will not achieve it. (Luke 1:45)

Key number four – Go in and possess.

You need an unstoppable spirit within you to possess. Don’t allow fear, doubt, and intimidation to hold you back any longer. Resolve within your heart to be unstoppable for God. (Daniel 1:8)

You were born for such a time as this, and the world is waiting for you to step into your calling! You’ve already been positioned for greatness; you must choose to operate in what has been given to you.
