In the prophetic, it does seem impossible to fully understand and know the mind of God outside touching the heart of God through intimacy. Because God in this new dispensation of grace, relates and communicate with us through His perfect heart. This in itself explains why Jesus Christ throughout His ministry would operate in a very profound prophetic grace that could fully know the thoughts of man and intentions especially when you read on Matthew 9 vs 4:
“And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?”
For Him to be able to operate with such precision and on a deep prophetic level, there must be some details that were not easily accessible on the ordinary. Evidently for Jesus to operate in these dimensions was largely because He was intimately attached to the very beautiful heart of God through the ministry and ability of the Holy Spirit.
Hence, this gives us a quality and blessed understanding that everything in the Kingdom, is there to call us into that place where we totally depend in the faith and intimacy of God.
The prophetic was never entrusted to us by God so that we use it to build our names but rather to call man into the intimate part of God. This therefore suggests that there is that aspect or part of God reserved for intimacy with God for every one who comes the God.
The intimacy of God has the propensity to cause the prophetic to flow out of you like a river that gives life to anything that has roots deep into the banks of the river.
You see, in the scriptures, God encouraged us through Colossians 2 vs 7:
“Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”
and also in 1 John 2 vs 27 :
“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”
that it is paramount for us sons to be rooted firmly in Him. Which means, as human beings, we all have roots however what is of the most significance is on what we are exactly rooted in. The question we have to ask ourselves then should be: are we rooted in God or in the systems of this world?.
This therefore implies that, the prophetic is not just an ability, grace or anointing that just reveals the mind of God over anyone’s life and further reveal the deep secrets in the heart of a man but rather, the prophetic is a mantle and a grace that was designed to glorify God through calling and moving people into intimacy with God. Because every time God spoke, He spoke mainly to consume the hearts of people into His deep love. Our God just enjoys to be the Master of your heart, mind & soul. He loves to reign over your blessed life as a King over your thoughts.
You see, everything shifts to perfection when we recognize that the goal and the heart of God has always centered on us His sons.
With that understanding, when we go to all the nations on this earth and preach the gospel. It is not just for us to just do it because God said it but it is for us to do it in order to mainly touch the hearts of the lost, and engineer the connection of such hearts into the intimacy of God through a beautiful relationship with Him.
We do not win souls for us to just say, “we have won souls” but rather we do it, so that those who were once lost can find an active ministry that grounds them into the intimacy of the Holy Ghost.
The agenda of God, from the beginning has always been about a relationship with Him. This is how much our Father loves us, to a dimension where He wants us to be fully addicted to Him and His perfect heart.
Therefore, any gift of the Spirit, be it the prophetic or the gift of healing, everything was divinely set up by God to call out people into a relationship of intimacy.
Hence, to us who invest our quality time just enjoying our God in the secret room (heart), it should not be a surprise when God begins to use our spiritual eyes and ears to prophetically see into people’s lives in order for them to be equipped and comforted in God
Intimacy with God, has a power in itself to open your spiritual abilities to easily hear the mind of God over nations & men. Let us enjoy God always and allow Him to use us prophetically.
