HOW TO REVEAL ABBA FATHER’S LOVE

How do you reveal Abba Father’s love to others with so much division in today’s world? Furthermore, why is showing His love to others more critical in this hour than ever before? When others come to know and experience the love of Abba Father, their hearts and minds begin to shift. Love makes room for repentance, more are added to the family of God, and unity is released in the Body of Christ.

What Happens When You Reveal the Father’s Love?

1. Eyes are opened, and He is seen……“But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’ But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.”—1 Corinthians 2:9-10

2. Others see how He first loved them…….“We love Him because He first loved us.”—1 John 4:19

3. Others see how He loved them even when they were sinners.

 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”—Romans 5:8

4. Others see that love covers a multitude of sins…..”And above all things have fervent love for one another, for ‘love will cover a multitude of sins.’”—1 Peter 4:8

5. Others see how love conquers all. ……“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails… And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”—1 Corinthians 13:4-8, 13

6. Others begin to experience healing and restoration. …….“I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, for My anger has turned away from him.”—Hosea 14:4

7. The law is fulfilled…….“Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law… Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”—Romans 13:8, 10

The Enemy Tries to Twist the Truth About Abba God’s Love!

The enemy hates it when you reveal Abba Father’s love to others because he knows the result will be an abundant harvest of life. Remember, he comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (see John 10:10).

Therefore, demonic powers will twist words and attempt to discredit God’s truth by introducing doubt so that you and others are deceived.

Jesus experienced this attempted twisting.

When Jesus was questioned by the Sadducees and the Pharisees about the “greatest commandment,” they tried to discredit Him. They attempted to trap Him in a web of words, hoping He would fumble and neglect one commandment for another.  But they didn’t realized the depth and power ofHis love.

“But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, ‘Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?’
“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” — Matthew 22:34-40 (emphasis added)

So then, as you reveal the Father’s love to others, understand that the enemy will be at work too. But trust and believe that God will give you what you need to overcome any twisting of words.

Here’s How to Show Abba Father’s Love:

Use your talents!  In Matthew 25, Jesus likens the Kingdom to a man traveling to a far country who called his servants and gave them talents.

Each servant was given “according to his own ability” (see Matthew 25:15).

So then, the Father gave you a talent. How do you know what it is?

* What are you passionate about?

* What or who do you find yourself praying about/for?

* What gives you energy?

* What motivates you?

* What do others ask you to do or help with?

These are questions you can ask yourself to discover your God-given talent. The parable goes on to tell us that the way the servants handled the talents was important. One servant was given five and made another five. One servant was given two and gained two more. One servant was given one and was ruled by fear and false perception of the master. As a result, he lost it all. It was given to someone else!

“Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’ But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.’” Matthew 25:24-28

God does not always tell us exactly how to reveal the Father’s love. He gives us free will to partner with Him. We can ask Him. We can step out in faith. And we can expect He will move. After all, faith moves God, and fear moves the enemy. Therefore, be moved by faith, not crippled by fear.

Remember, Satan is a Liar! The enemy will tell you “don’t serve, don’t love, don’t proclaim,” and then plant vain imaginations in your mind about why revealing Abba Father’s love is……

* Fruitless

* Keep Not necessary

* Inconvenient

* Embarrassing

* Risky and so on and on…..

But Stand in Faith!  So then, activating your faith and using your talents reveals Abba Father’s love! Ask yourself these questions:

1. Do you love to serve? Then serve!

2. Do you love to pray? Then pray!

3. Do you love to sing and dance? Then worship!

4. Do you love to teach? Then teach!

Spend some time in prayer and begin to write down the things the Spirt reveals to you about loving others. Look around you. Are there people in your home, workplace, church, or even stores that you frequent that could hear an encouraging word? Think about the fruits of the Spirit and ask God to place people in your path with whom you can share these fruits.

* Speak with gentleness and love.

* Serve with love and joy.

* Be faithful and kind with your words.

* Show patience to someone who seems upset.

* Pray for peace to flow in and through you to others.

* Remember, God is love and we are to be devoted to one another. Know God through love, and reveal Abba Father’s love to others.

Meditate On This Truth! ……Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” 1 John 4:7-11
