DISCOVER WHAT IS WRITTEN ABOUT YOU
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. (Hebrews 10:7)
The believer in Christ Jesus has a responsibility to find out what is written about him/her in God’ Word. This is the foundation to a victorious life made available in Christ Jesus. This discovery equips the believer to stand tall in the face of difficult situations in life.
Our opening verse is a quote from Psalm 40:7 – “Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me” and it’s a reference to Christ. Every believer in Christ came in the volume of what is written concerning them. The day you discover that and courageously begin to walk in it that’s when you will begin to walk in unending victory. The word of God is like a bank – you can only withdraw through revelation; Jesus must have been teaching his disciples this fundamental truth when he went to Nazareth. “And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:17-19)
Have you found what is written about you in God’s word? Someone else must have read the same passage in Isaiah that Jesus read to the hearing of everyone at the Synagogue but it never made sense to them because it wasn’t written concerning them. When you discover by revelation what is written about you and hold on to it as though your life depends on it, it becomes like the GPS that guides you through life.
There are going to be days where your faith is going to be tested. There are also days you will receive bad news or things you expected to work will not work as expected. Just like a Pilot has a flight plan which details the route the pilot must take to get to his destination. Oftentimes, the wind could push the airplane out of course but because the Pilot has the flight plan, he holds The Yoke and moves the airplane back in course. What is written about you in God’s Word is like The Yoke of an airplane. Find and use it to make your life a living miracle.
