CHOSEN FOR GREATNESS

CHOSEN FOR GREATNESS

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20)

The day you got born again, you were born into God’s family. It is the union of greatness that you’ve been brought into, made possible by the sacrificial blood of Jesus on the cross. The Bible says, “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. (Romans 8:29-30).

Our theme verse says, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” (Ephesians 3:20). God chose you for greatness to bear witness to His saving grace in your world. Dear believer in Christ, God can do much more than you can ask or think, according to His power that’s at work in you. The enemy will continue to fight to make sure you see yourself as short, thereby underperforming in the affairs of life. It is time you began to see yourself through the lens of God’s word.

Apostle Peter, through the Holy Spirit, also confirmed this when he said, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9). Make up your mind not to live below God’s approved standard for your life. The value of a product is determined by what it is exchanged for. It cost God His only begotten son to gain sons unto glory; you are priceless before God.

CONFESSION

I am a royal priesthood, holy and set apart for God’s use. The Lord brought me into a life of greatness to show forth the praises of Him who has called us into glory. To the glory of God, I am producing fruits of righteousness as I witness the love of God made available in Christ Jesus.
