CALLED TO SERVE HIS KINGDOM

You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body. (1 Corinthians 6:20, Amplified)

Relationships exist to serve interests. The word of God says, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.” (Psalm 115:16). The position a man occupies makes him the envy of spirits. The Spirit of God wants to use man to bring about the will of God on earth the same way the devil wants to use man to steal, kill, and destroy. Man fulfills the agenda of the spirit he yields to.

Our opening verse says, “You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body. (1 Corinthians 6:20, Amplified). Your marriage and your relationship as a child of God exist to serve the interests of God’s kingdom. God’s design is that your relationship should be a reflection of heaven on earth. The will of the Father that is already established in heaven is superimposed on earth, or your area of influence, through your relationships. You were bought at a price to serve the interests of His kingdom.

Your marriage is not about you. It is God’s tool to serve the purpose of His kingdom. This consciousness awakens in you the desire to let God, the unseen partner in the marriage, have His way. Apostle Paul says to “honor and glorify God with your body” (1 Corinthians 6:20b). You are on assignment to make Jesus known in your world. Focus on the big picture!

PRAYER

Precious Father, help me to serve the interests of your kingdom through my marriage and relationships in the name of Jesus Christ.
