ALL THINGS ARE WORKING FOR YOUR GOOD

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

One of the surest currencies that have ruled the world for generations is knowledge. Your mind is a depot of information. When you got born again, the information deposited in your mind over time didn’t disappear. Your mind didn’t get born again with your spirit. Subjecting your mind to a new kind of information that will produce the knowledge consistent with what happened to your spirit is therefore very important.

Apostle Paul in our opening scripture made a bold statement predicated on the revelation of our identity in Christ Jesus. It is important to point out here that Apostle Paul didn’t just say all things work together for good to those who love God. He said we know that all things work together for good. There’s a difference between both statements. It is predicated on knowledge. This will mean as long as that revelation hasn’t settled in you to produce a working and living knowledge all things won’t work together for you.

The believer in Christ Jesus became a partaker of whatever that is in Christ when he got born again. Apostle Paul said “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:17) – the believer in Christ takes up the new nature. He may still live under the influence of his old nature because he has yet to submit to the knowledge of his new identity freely expressed in God’s word. Let this knowledge saturate your mind until it overflows. Jesus didn’t die for you to place you in a disadvantaged position. This must be why Apostle Paul said “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 5:20).
