A NEW CHAPTER

There is a “A NEW CHAPTER” for you today and I will like you to read the Book of Exodus chapter 12 from verse 1 to verse 12 and familiarize yourself with how God gave instructions to His servants regarding the new thing that was going to happen.
The Almighty God has unlimited ways of bringing about a new era in the life of a man. God could have delivered the children of Israel from the Egyptian bondage of 430 years by several other means, but he chose to do so in a most remarkable way. The Passover(Exodus 12;1-42) is an ideal way of illustrating what a new era is about. Until the Passover, God’s children lived in a large prison yard in Egypt. But God said in Exodus 12:2 “This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you”. I have good news for someone reading this message in this 11th month( November) in the last quarter of this year as you look unto the Lord in anticipation, with expectation the Lord will do something New in your life.
You see God was acquainting them with the coming change, that the old era was coming to an end and a new one was taking off that month.
When writing a script it is normal to start from the beginning, proceed to the middle and conclude at the end. God’s scripts are however written differently, instead of a single beginning He can introduce as many beginnings as He likes. While writing the story of an individual He can choose to close certain chapters, remove certain characters, introduce Himself in some impossible scenarios. He can choose to discontinue a negative trend just to give a desired result to a story Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” That same God who said this about Jeremiah is the same God today who can still say these things and even much more to you today, if only you can believe it.
At 80 years Moses had thought the story of his life had come to an end. You see he was a prince in Egypt who was well educated, who became a murderer and ended up as a shepherd with no future. He gave up on his life and thought the concluding chapter of his life was about to end. But you see God had other plans for him. I believe strongly that God has good plans for you. Your life is not over, God is about to write a new chapter of your life and things are going to turnaround for good.   My prayer for you is that you will fulfill the purpose of God. God introduced another beginning in the life of Moses and suddenly, everything changed. Moses became a god to Pharaoh and he was divinely empowered to judge Egypt and lead the Children of Israel out of 430 years of bondage.
Have people written you off? Have men written the concluding chapter of your life? Or have you written off yourself? Don’t loose hope. The Lord is introducing a new chapter into your life. If for any reason you have not given your life to Jesus. He’s calling on you and he wants to rewrite the beginning of a beautiful Chapter of your life Psalm 30:5b “…weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
Our God is a God of new beginnings and new chapters and all that He is asking of you today is to put your trust in Him and see the manifestations of New Chapter in all aspect of your life. What area do you need a new Chapter? Is it in your health?, could it be in your finances / career? Is your relationship going through turbulent times? Has the zeal to serve the Lord waned down because of disappointments of the past?
I tell you what- cheer up because God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, and this is the confidence we have. God Bless you as you see the new Chapter even in your spirit.
