In life, the moment anyone receives an accurate understanding of how seasons and times function in God over their life, that will trigger a whole new phase of victory over any situation any time any day. Such an individual will never find themself competing and envying those who seem to be walking in the spiritual success that their faith is still currently set to achieve.
In everything that we set to give birth to in God, there is an undeniable system that is at work which is called the process of God that God Himself in His authority and power will cause us to experience in order to shield and keep us from our own self made destruction. This preservations come to us freely from God Almighty because He has always loved us from the beginning and made provisions to be our guard and shield.
When you study the perfect life of our Master Jesus Christ who is our Lord, you will discover that in every major milestone that happened in His life, it all happened not because He was simply anointed and gifted but rather everything took place because He was a man under the exact timing of God. That simply tells us that the timing of God is as important as the process and the experiences every one of us must have in life.
A man that is accurately walking with God is a man that does not only demonstrate the gifts of the Spirit but a man that operates under the time and seasons of God. The word in Romans 8 verse 14 places us into that intimate understanding that, ” For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
A deeper spiritual understanding of the scripture above highlights the authority vested in being a son of God and how it is truly measured by the ability and discipline cultivated once one is yielded to the leading of God’s Spirit. This leading expressly involves being able to allow God in taking you through your season and time as heaven has proposed before time.
Anyone can be so gifted with all spiritual gifts, yet fail to permit God to take them through His set process and the very due time. Often times this set process is what ultimately reveals the details and dynamics of our experiences before anyone could finally conclude that indeed God is with them. Therefore the spiritual discipline of being able to align our ambitions and desires under the rule of God remains the hallmark.
David remained a success in his land, because even when it was proven that he was an exceptional skilled man, yet he was humble enough in allowing God to promote him at His set time. If we should analyze the very good chances he had at his disposal to take out Saul from being a king, yet he resorted to reprimanding himself and evidently refrained himself from touching what God had once anointed. It becomes very clear and profound on how David so disciplined himself in allowing the time of God to have the rule over his life. He allowed God to make him king in the due time and season outside his own abilities and quality chances he was once presented with.
Submitting to the Lordships of God demands allowing His seasons and time to govern our everyday dispositions. It is very possible to be so gifted spiritually especially in the prophetic, yet a lack of character of patience would overtime reveal the ineffectiveness in delivering all that the Lord has made available for such vessel to transmit.
Kingdom people do not just do things simply because they have the means and abilities in them. Rather they people execute things mainly because the Christ in them would have instructed them when and to do it. The scriptures are clear that God would always instruct His servants when to engage in something and the records have shown it is always according to His set calendar over their life.
Let us therefore not just be that set of prophetic people that are accurate in reading the issues concerning people whom we are set to prophesy over but also let us be that group of prophetic people that are able to read the calendar of God in our assignments, purposes and callings.
A man that trusts the time of God is a man that will change people’s life’s for good and for the kingdom. It is my prayer today that our gifts, calling and assignment be under the Lordship’s calendar which is the testimony of being led by God. The very exact language that causes God to be involved in everything we do and touch.
