Keep your peace

Apostle Jumah

Often times we are faced with challenging situations, being pressured from almost every side. At such times myriad of questions bombard our mind. It may even get so tough that we begin to generate some of the questions ourselves. Some of the lingering ones would be; what have I not done yet?, have I not prayed and fasted enough?, does it mean my faith is not working or what?. What happened to the seed I released?Countless times we recall how we have declared the Name of Jesus over the situation, yet it seems things are getting even worse.

Here is my submission in case you are in that seeming situation, let your focus remain on the Lord Jesus because He is totally dependable. A portion of the scripture that has been of tremendous help to me is 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 reading from verse 18 to 24:

18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

19 Quench not the Spirit.

20 Despise not prophesyings.

21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved
blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
I therefore prophesy unto you today that by the Power of God, you will experience divine favor such that you would
know it was not by your might or power, but by the Spirit of our Loving God and Father. Cheer up, give thanks unto
the LORD for help is on the way and your victory is assured and secured in the Name of Jesus, Amen.
